Refund and Returns Policy

At SilkyBooks in Montréal, Canada, we take pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our handmade photo albums. If something is not right with your order, we want to make it straightforward to resolve.

Return time frame

Contact us within 14 days of delivery if your album arrives damaged, incorrect, or not as described. For unused items in original condition, you may also request a return or exchange within 30 days of receipt. Personalized or custom-made items are not eligible for return or refund.

Condition of returns

To be eligible for a return or exchange (when applicable), the item must be unused and in the same condition you received it, in its original packaging where possible.

How to start a return or exchange

Email hooman@silkybooks.ca with your order number and a short note about the issue. We will reply with next steps. Please do not ship anything back until we confirm the return.

Refunds

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method after we receive and inspect the returned item. Processing typically takes 5–10 business days once the return is accepted (your bank or card issuer may need additional time to post the credit).

Return shipping

For damaged, incorrect, or not-as-described orders, SilkyBooks covers reasonable return shipping within Canada. For other approved returns, we will confirm shipping responsibility when we reply. We do not charge restocking fees.

Exchanges

Exchanges for a different in-stock colour or size may be available within the same time frames and conditions as returns. Ask us by email and we will check availability.
